Simple lines and minimalist design make the Modus Lucca Chocolate Platform Bed a beautiful choice for your sleep sanctuary. And it's handy, too - dual pistons allow easy lifting of the metal mattress frame, revealing a spacious storage area. Wood slats allow flexible support of the mattress, and the entire frame is corner blocked for further support. The rich chocolate bi-cast leather on this platform bed is designed to last year after year. To access the storage compartment, just lift on the handle at the foot of the bed and allow the weight-assisting hinge to help you lift up the mattress. The hinge also keeps the mattress in place for a secure fit. No box spring is required, and it's available in your choice of sizes.

How does this item ship?
This product requires delivery via freight carrier due to its size and/or weight.
What is Freight Delivery?
Freight delivery means your product will be shipped and arrive via a large truck. Freight delivery is used when the size and/or weight of the product is too large to ship using small package carriers (UPS, FedEx).
How are delivery arrangements made?
To provide a higher level of service, the freight carrier will work with you directly to arrange a delivery date and time. Once your product arrives at the local dock it will be switched to a local delivery driver and truck. The local freight driver should call you to arrange an appointment within 24 hours of delivery.
What does freight delivery include?
Basic freight delivery includes the delivery of your purchase to the requested delivery address and the driver helping you with the removal of your packages from the delivery truck. This is also called "tailgate delivery." It does not include delivery inside your house, apartment, or office, nor does it include any unpacking, set-up, or installation of the product.
Do I need help to move the product inside?
If you are ordering a large or heavy item, please keep in mind that you may need the assistance of one or more people to transport the item from the delivery truck into your home.
Freight drivers are expected to notify you of delivery day, time, and service options, so that you can make the appropriate arrangements if moving your item inside is necessary.
Most freight carriers offer special service options (such as transporting items from the truck into your house, apartment, or office), which you may arrange directly with the freight carrier company. These typically involve additional charges payable to the freight carrier upon delivery.
What if I need to cancel or return my order?
Orders cannot be canceled after shipment (please refer to our Cancellation Policy). If you refuse a freight carrier delivery, you will be charged delivery to and from the shipping address. Please review our return policy for complete details.
What if I'm not home at the scheduled delivery time?
Freight drivers are expected to provide reasonable advance notice of delivery day and time. If you are absent for a scheduled delivery and your absence results in an inability to deliver, a second delivery fee may apply.
