Simple, stylish, and nicely priced, the Modus Simple Platform Bed provides an elegance all its own. The slim-line pieces are constructed of solid kiln-dried wood with tropical mahogany and/or mixed tropical white woods. Sure to lend minimalist appeal to any bedroom, the platform bed includes hardwood slats bound in a roll that can be used for a mattress only. No box spring is required.

This bed is nice looking, solid wood, and easy to assemble. It took me one hour (I used a drill with screw attachment). It 's solid, comfortable and I am satisfied with it. One support leg did not connect properly and may have to be glued in addition to the screw, but this is the only problem I have had with it. I may use extra screws (not included) in the slats for more security.
