This bombe-shaped dresser features nine drawers and offers substantial room for storing clothes. The top three drawers are felt-lined to protect jewelry and delicate accessories from scratches and snags. Two optional mirrors are available with this dresser to add elegance and convenience to your bedroom.
Design elements: Acanthus leaf carvings on the pilasters and egg-and-dart carvings under the top moldings add artistic beauty to the design. All carvings are gold-tipped by hand to highlight the rich tones of the golden brown cognac finish of the wood. Heavy moldings add dimension and depth to the case structure, while carved base rails and cabriole feet complete the fancy, traditional style. The carved ring pulls are covered in an antique brass finish and mounted on elaborate drapery-carved back plates.
Construction: Like all case pieces in Legacy's Versailles collection, this nine-drawer dresser is crafted with radiata pine veneers and select pine solids that are virtually knot-free, which creates a rich, high-end appearance. The golden brown cognac finish has a lighter, medium-brown fruitwood tone that perfectly complements the bronze tipping color. Authentic to country French design, this fruitwood finish is a universal shade that will work with virtually any color combination in your home.
Drawer features: The nine drawers are built with French dovetail joints in front and lapped joints in back for superior strength and durability. All drawers are equipped with Kenlin's Rite-Trak® drawer guide system. Exceptionally quiet and smooth, this system features positive stops and close tolerances for better drawer fit. Kenlin drawer guides are made with precision steel guides and runners, permanent lubrication, and specially engineered plastic components for years of reliable performance.
Mirror options: This dresser is available with one of two optional beveled glass mirrors. The arched mirror features a dignified arching crown with carved overlay and gold-tipped acanthus leaves on the sides. The beveled glass follows the sweeping design of the frame, drawing your eyes to admire the richly finished wood. The arched mirror measures 44W x 4D x 45H inches. The other mirror option is a traditional tri-view mirror, which features three mirror panes (two adjustable) framed with beautiful wood and gold-tipped carvings. The majestic overlays flow from the crowning arch in the center to embellish every side. The tri-view mirror measures 58W x 2D x 45H inches.
