This hidden drawer and the top two visible drawers are lined with felt to protect your jewelry from scratches. Elegant beading frames the drawer fronts, adding to the radiance of the graceful serpentine shape.
The dresser drawers are built with front French dovetail joints for superior strength and durability. All drawers are equipped with the durable Kenlin Rite Trac® metal drawer guide system. This system features guide rails with built-in roller wheels for smooth, efficient operation. Built-in positive drawer stops provide extra safety and prevent accidental drawer spills.
Like all case pieces in Legacy's Foxborough bedroom collection, this dresser is crafted from select American hardwoods and cherry veneers using cathedral tops and fronts and quarter-cut borders. The hand-distressed warm auburn finish features cow-tailing and spatter and a black break-away filler glaze to highlight the carvings. The carved drawer rings and knobs are made of brass with a hand-polished, burnished brass finish. The darker hue of the carvings accentuates the brilliance of the bright brass finish.
This handsome dresser is covered with impressive design elements inspired by traditional European styles. Carved under-top molding and broken beads give the dresser a rich, dignified style. Fluted pilasters add traditional character to the case edges, while curved bracket feet provide stable support and complete the smooth, flowing line of the serpentine front.
The optional vertical bureau mirror is handcrafted and carved to match the design elements of the dresser: fluted pilasters, carved under-top molding, and a fancy floral accent on the center of the arch. This beveled mirror is as beautiful as a jeweled crown when placed on top of the Foxborough dresser. The mirror measures 34W x 2D x 43H inches.
