The dresser starts with durable hardwood and rich walnut veneers, hand-selected and matched by color and wood grain to create a seamless, consistent look. Veneers are stronger and more durable than solid wood as they resist shrinking, swelling, warping and cracking. They're finished here in a warm, rustic Aged Timber, which enhances the natural beauty - and natural imperfections - of the wood veneers. The entire piece is manufactured in an environmentally friendly process, so you won't have to worry about waste before it arrives at your door.
The dresser's three small, top drawers are perfectly sized to catch belts, socks, jewelry, and other accessories and small items. The four spacious drawers below are all uniform in size, ideal for spare linens and clothing, seasonal or otherwise. All of the drawers feature wood sides and backs with veneer bottoms - they're long-lasting and less likely to warp over time and in humidity changes. Each drawer bottom is stained and sealed to protect materials placed inside. Dovetail construction creates smooth edges, and stop blocks are nailed and glued behind each drawer to ensure the drawer stops solidly and in the proper position.
Custom-designed solid brass hardware, finished in rich bronze, adds a sleek gleam, while built-in adjustable levelers keep the dresser steady and in place.
The optional, wide landscape mirror boasts a beveled glass interior and six lovely, decorative metal brackets placed artfully around the warm wood perimeter - they're finished in a shade that coordinates with the dresser.
